Balance Education 101 with Sue Taves
Balance is a skill that is very adaptable to change, if you work on it, it does get better. The more focused your balance efforts are, the faster it changes. Learn how your sensory, visual, and vestibular systems work together with your strength and flexibility to keep your balance and prevent falls. Each class includes education, balance testing and recommendations as well as practical balance exercises that you can do in your home.
Class is led by Sue Taves, a licensed physical therapist (of over 30 years) who has concentrated her practice on working with people with neurologic diagnoses and balance disorders of all types. Sue currently works at Lone Lake Physical Therapy (now located at the Soundview Center) and her assistants are other licensed health professionals.
Cost: $125 - Includes balance testing, education, and individual exercise recommendations.
